“Lundstram Slammed: Fans Rage He ‘Offers Absolutely Nothing’ in Brutal Post-Rangers Rant”

Former Rangers midfielder John Lundstram has faced harsh criticism from Turkish football icon and former international star Sergen Yalçın due to his performances for Trabzonspor.

After leaving Rangers on a free transfer this past summer, Lundstram joined Trabzonspor and has since appeared in ten league matches, with five starts. However, the team currently sits 11th in the Turkish League standings, which has led to mounting criticism.

On a recent TV appearance, Yalçın – who played for Turkey’s “Big Three” clubs Galatasaray, Beşiktaş, and Fenerbahçe, as well as in five major tournaments with the national team – targeted the 30-year-old for his lackluster contributions. Yalçın remarked that Lundstram is “a flat midfielder who offers absolutely nothing,” adding that he fails to make a difference for Trabzonspor or add value to the squad.

He continued, saying, “He’s not alone; many of the players are in the same boat.” According to Yalçın, the team lacks the quality to compete for the league title, despite high expectations for success.
